| To be attended by around 150 participants, the Meet will disseminate the EAP published for Konar Dam and make all the stakeholders aware about the roles, responsibilities, communication protocols and an appropriate response by all stakeholders during an exigency.
Prominent names including National Disaster Management Authority, India Meteorological Department, National Remote Sensing Centre, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), All India Radio, Geological Survey of India, World Bank, Central Water Commission, Damodar Valley Corporation, West Bengal, Damodar Valley Reservoir Regulation Committee, State Disaster Management Authority, District Disaster Management Authority, along with State Police, Revenue Officials, Fire Officials, Health Departments, media, heavy industries located downstream of dams, public representatives of immediate affected villages downstream of dams of two districts of Hazaribagh and Bokaro, as well as DRIP Implementing Agencies from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan among others will attend the Meet .
