| Under DRIP Seismic Hazard Assessment Studies for whole India have been taken up. The Study for Seismic Hazard Assessment of South India was awarded to IIT Roorkee, which is at the stage of completion. The Study for Seismic Hazard Assessment of North and North East India has been taken up by CWPRS, Pune and MoU was signed in January 2018. Considering the complex geological, seismo-tectonic feature of the North and North Eastern Region, this study was proposed separately. Upon completion of both Studies, there will be seamless integration of hazard maps, which would be made available in public domain. |
